In the first year of a Fine Art degree at De Montfort University in Leicester, Furr was looking at old film stills for inspiration.

This collage features characters played by Alec Guinness and Dennis Price from 'Kind Hearts and Coronets'. Other elements in the cut and paste assembly of images, include hand coloured photocopies of drawings and cartoons by his friend the author/illustrator Ged Adamson from the period.
