This painting was added to in 2017 by the artist Aboudia and became the joint work "Chasing Spirits".

"I had a dream a barn owl was staring at me. It's wing was changing with a myriad of colour. I woke up and knew I had to paint it. It is in the same long portrait format as my painting of my cat at the glass doorway - because I wanted it to look like something appearing in the dark through a door.

I think the dream might have come from an experience I had as a kid. We used to holiday in Wales with my cousins and sometimes stayed in a caravan on a farm. We used to sneak into the barn where the haystacks where and climb up them. One day I climbed to the top and came face to face white barn owl staring at me. When it saw me, it wasn't scared and it stared me down. Amazing experience." - Christian Furr
