Private collection of the Ackerman family

Roy Ackerman - the original founder of Ackerman Studios- was a good friend and supporter. Ackerman introduced Furr to 45 Park Lane - Dorchester Collection around 2013 and his works became part of th permanent collection in the hotel being featured there today on the third floor.

This portrait is an informal study of a friend and was gifted to Roy. The lighting is deliberately Rembrandtesque as to the artist Roy had the look of a Rembrandt figure.
